Brunch Service Takes Flight at The Mockingbird Starting Nov. 5

New Menu Will Feature Globally Inspired Shared Plates, Pastries and Punch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Known for its international comfort food cuisine and touches of whimsy, The Mockingbird announces plans to implement a Sunday brunch service 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Sunday beginning Nov. 5.

Set to the soundtrack of funk and soul favorites, the playful menu is designed to be shared and will feature a selection of pastries, plates, sides and brunch cocktails. 

Influenced by cuisines from across the globe, the brunch menu’s offerings include $12 plates, such as a French-inspired Monte Cristo sandwich with cranberry-orange jam; Chilaquiles Verdes with pickled onion, a fried egg and queso fresco; and Biscuits y Gravy, featuring the eatery’s popular chicken fried chicken with salsa verde and chorizo gravy.

House-made pastries include sour cream doughnuts, an Eastern-European chocolate babka and a country ham and manchego cheese scone for $6 each.

The menu will be accompanied by a variety of sides, like grits, toasted brioche and mac and cheese for $4 each.

A full cocktail menu will be available, including playful brunch beverages such as teapot punch service; Bubble Trouble, sparkling wine over fruit-infused ice; frozen Paloma popsicles, and a selection of hot and cold coffee cocktails.
