Celebrate Nashville Restaurant Week Aug. 21-27 in Nashville's Restaurants

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The last Nashville Restaurant Week of 2017 urges Nashvillians and visitors to support local, independent restaurants and experience special menus with unique dishes Aug. 21-27 around town.

As the city’s independent restaurant association, Nashville Originals now comprises 70 member restaurants who are committed to sustaining Music City’s diverse dining culture. The biannual Nashville Restaurant Week allows participants to explore the best food that Nashville has to offer and snag deals that make dining at upscale member restaurants more affordable.

Several Nashville Originals member restaurants have reached milestones in the past year. Bob Bernstein’s Fido in Hillsboro Village celebrated its 20th anniversary, Randy Rayburn’s Midtown Cafe notched 30 years under its belt, and Sylvan Park’s beloved McCabe Pub, owned and operated by Jo Dean, Katie Dean and Stefanie Brown, just reached its 35th anniversary. Jimmy Kelly’s Steakhouse is approaching its 90th birthday.

Noshville is a familiar staple where you know exactly what you're going to get when you order. The 21-year-old deli, owned by Originals Board Member Tom Loventhal, has become a tradition for generations of Nashville families, and the restaurant is paying homage to those culinary traditions by participating in New York Delicatessen Month throughout August. They are offering daily specials all month on beloved classics.

The newest participant for the upcoming Nashville Restaurant Week is Bricks Cafe, with locations in Brentwood and Franklin.

Scout’s Pub, located in Franklin’s Westhaven community, is featuring a three-course menu for $30. Entrée options include the Harvest Pig sandwich with roasted pork loin, charred apple slices, balsamic glazed onions and blackberry aioli. Baked s’mores, Brulee banana pudding and caramel apple cobbler are also on the menu.

The iconic Elliston Place Soda Shop will offer diners a budget-friendly option with breakfast, lunch or dinner for two for $20.17.

The Nations’ Fifty-First Bar & Grill has date night covered with its dinner for two for $51. Diners will be able to select two courses each, with delectable entrees including meatloaf served with garlic smashed potatoes and smothered with oyster mushroom veloute and Scottish salmon in adobo sauce.
