SAVANNAH, Tenn. – Come celebrate the harvest season at the second annual Farm to Table Dinner beginning 6 p.m. with gates open 5:15 p.m. Oct. 10 at the corner of Main and Williams Streets in downtown Savannah, Tennessee.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance only.
Hardin County Convention and Visitors Bureau will host the farmers’ market-themed event focusing on community connection, locally grown food awareness, and a fun fall celebration.
The menu will be comprised of regional and seasonal whole food featuring locally raised pastured pork, sourced from Morningside Farms TN-Go-Meats. Various local farms will be providing the organic produce and our own local UT Extension and 4-H grilling team will be preparing the meal. Guests will enjoy meats, veggies, breads, cheeses, and delicious desserts.
The City of Savannah will display plans for the Farmers Market building that is to begin construction in the spring of 2018 on the old Farris Hotel site.
All event proceeds support local 4-H program. Tickets for the second annual farm to table dinner are now for sale at the Tennessee River Museum, 495 Main Street, in downtown Savannah.
