Knoxville Chefs Invited to Cook at James Beard House

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – As a nod towards the advancement and growth of Knoxville's dining scene, four of the area's most successful chefs have been invited to display their culinary skills at "The Knockout of Knoxville" on April 13th at 7pm at The James Beard House in New York's Greenwich Village.

The invited chefs include an impressive roster including Joseph Lenn of JC Holdway, Jesse Newmister of Kaizen, Drew McDonald of The Plaid Apron, and Matt Gallaher of Knox Mason & Emilia.

The public is invited to travel to New York to experience the eight course dinner and drink pairings. Tickets and a glimpse at the menu can be found here.

On April 13, foodies can also follow all of the New York activities with live updates via Visit Knoxville’s Instagram (@visitknoxville) and Facebook (@visitknoxvilleTN).

For those that can't make the trip to New York, an event to recreate the dinner will take place May 21 at Emilia in Knoxville.  Follow @EmiliaKnoxville on Facebook for upcoming ticket information.
