Nashville Zoo Hosts Earth Day Celebration

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Join the Nashville Zoo in Celebrate Earth Day at the third annual Party for the Planet 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 20 at the Nashville Zoo.

Activities will include special keeper talks, docent-led conservation activities and games, a recycled art contest and more. Party for the Planet is free with zoo admission or membership. Local organizations will be onsite to share tips about living green and how to become involved.

Visitors can enter a recycled art contest for a chance to win a free Zoo Family Membership. Art pieces will be displayed between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 20 along the Savannah Loop. Judging of the art pieces will take place on the same day and there will be three winners in each of the three age categories. Pre-registration is required.
