Appalachian Ghostwalks Include Ghost History and Bigfoot Adventure Tours in East Tennessee

EAST TENNESSEE – Appalachian GhostWalks' Tennessee Smoky Mountain Ghost and History Tours are guided, lantern-led haunted historic tours presented by well trained "Mountain Mysteries Guides" who recount accounts of otherworldly encounters alongside real history as it verifies their findings as researchers.

There are 14 different Tennessee Ghost and History Tours located in Historic Dandridge, Erwin and Unicoi County Heritage Museum, the East Tennessee State University Campus, Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site, Greeneville, Rogersville, Blountville, downtown Johnson City's “Little Chicago GhostWalk,” Gatlinburg, and Jonesborough, which has been listed on Travel Channel as one of the top ten most haunted towns in America.

As a first in North America, the "Legendary Cherokee Bigfoot Adventure" is hosted at Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium in Kingsport and this tour is an afternoon hiking adventure set to the beat of Native American flute and drum music, sharing more than 500 years of Cherokee folklore history and legend. In addition, guests will discover 20 years of Bigfoot research findings from studies performed locally in Southern Appalachia.

Come and visit the "People of the Past" with each of their historically accurate tours offering a small piece of a larger puzzle of Tennessee History. Your ghost hunting guide will weave a chilly tale of the region's vast cultural heritage coupled with true ghost stories.

Appalachian GhostWalks' "Spook and Save" vacation packages offer a selection of historic and sometimes haunted bed and breakfasts, inns, and great family hotels. They offer vacation packages which combine your haunted tour experience with local area camping, white water rafting, caving, bicycle or horseback riding, gem mining, carriage rides, area museums, water parks, skiing, plays, and more. Packages feature a wide variety of interests to include both day and night activities to keep travelers enchanted and entertained.

The tour is great for family adventure or a tour group. Appalachian GhostWalks' Tennessee Ghost and History Tours are appropriate for ages five and up. Reservations are required.
