NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 15th annual Tomato Art Show, the tomato-themed art exhibition, opens 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 11 and will be displayed through Sept. 9 at Art and Invention Gallery in East Nashville. The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are now on sale. Space is limited, so early reservations are strongly encouraged.
A Tomato Art Show Preview Party will take place 6-9 p.m. Aug. 10 at the same location. Tickets are $25 and reservations are required. Guests get a first-look at this year’s tomato artwork, music, libations, and tomato-inspired food provided by Citizens Kitchen.
In 2017, the Tomato Art Fest welcomed an estimated 60,000 people. Each year, the crowds have steadily grown larger.
During the festival, many attendees take time to peruse the hundreds of tomato-themed pieces which fill the walls of the gallery. Due to its popularity, the Tomato Art Show has been voted “Best Art Show” by Nashville Scene readers several times over the years.
