MARTIN, TN – Feb. 27, 2019 – Talented bull riders, barbecue and crawfish, and family-friendly entertainment will be featured at the University of Tennessee Martin 51st annual Spring College Rodeo April 11-13 at the Ned Ray McWherter Agricultural Complex. Advance tickets are available now until April 2.
The festivities kick off with the 14th annual Jr. Miss and Miss UT Martin Rodeo Pageant noon March 16 at the Watkins Auditorium of the Boling University Center.
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture will serve a crawfish dinner 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Martin, Tennessee. The dinner includes crafish, new potatoes and corn on the cob. Hamburgers and hotdogs will also be available. Tickets are $15 per person.
Additional activities April 11-13 will include a free county-wide barbecue dinner which includs baked beans, barbecue, chips and a drink; a performance by Dusty Myers who is a rodeo clown and comedian;, a chance to win a MTD riding lawnmower; and some of the top bucking bulls and horses from Universal Rodeos.
Tickets are $10 for adults ($8 in advance) Friday night and $12 Saturday night ($10 in advance). A weekend pass is $20 and includes three performances.
