NASHVILLE, TN – Dec. 12, 2019 – Moxy Nashville Downtown, managed by Daniel Hospitality Group, is now open in a former records storage facility on Honky Tonk Row, steps away from the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena and other legendary attractions.
The Lower Broadway-adjacent hotel features chic and modern guest rooms, locally commissioned artwork and multiple social & lounge spaces designed to convey the Music City energy.
Created for the young-at-heart traveler of all ages, the Moxy Hotels brand promotes inclusive properties that are about having fun and creating opportunities for guests to interact and connect. The design of the property, led by New York-based Celano Design Studio, is inspired by the country rock music vibe of the city layered with playful and artful Moxy touches. The interior encourages guests to get out of their rooms and into the lobby, which is defined by four zones ranging from calm collaboration spaces and game areas to the custom stage designed by artist Levon Mouradian, which offers an indoor-outdoor experience with live music and cocktails for around-the-clock socializing.
Art consultant group nAscent Art also commissioned pieces from Nashville-based artists. Highlights include colorful murals painted on the building’s original freight elevator doors on each floor by Brian Wooden and custom boom box sculptures from Matthew Dutton.
When not in the lobby or exploring Nashville, the 168 rooms and suites are styled with ultra-plush beds, modern bathrooms and high-tech perks. Guests can select from rooms and suites with sweeping views of iconic Broadway or the windowless Musician Rooms - which feature Epiphone Acoustic Guitars for guests to use freely - for maximum privacy.
The fun begins at check-in: Bar Moxy, located in the lobby at street level, also doubles as the front desk where guests receive a room key and complimentary cocktail. The heart of the hotel, Bar Moxy boasts daily live music on a custom-made stage, a coffee-to-cocktail menu serving locally roasted OSA coffee, local craft beer on draft, craft cocktails and small bites, and garage-style windows that open to invite in locals and passersby strolling up and down Third Avenue.
Bar Moxy is one of multiple food and beverage concepts planned for the property, along with a bar and restaurant on the fifth floor featuring an outdoor patio overlooking Broadway and a ground-floor restaurant slated for 2020. Other amenities include a 24-hour Fitness Center, Ironing Rooms, Plug and Meet areas and a private conference room.
Room rates start at $275. To make a reservation and for more information, call 615-986-2091 or visit www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bnaox-moxy-nashville-downtown.
