MILLINGTON, TN – Feb. 4, 2019 — Five days of the most fearless drag racing take place during the Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Blowout March 1-5 at Memphis International Raceway.
This historic event, which has been run for more than 40 years, features no-prep racing and radial-prepped racing, attracting Grudge racers and fans from all over the South. More than $40,000 in payouts are available for just the first two days and culminates with another $27,500 of payouts during the Main Event on Fat Tuesday, March 5.
It’s the latest addition to a packed Memphis International Raceway schedule which features some of the most prestigious races and largest series in auto racing. Memphis International Raceway, home of the International Hot Rod Association Summit SuperSeries World Finals, is the premier motorsports destination in the Mid-South. In addition to numerous drag racing events, Memphis International Raceway hosts series such as NASCAR, USAC and the CARS Late Model Tour at its 3/4-mile oval track.
