CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Fireside is a free, family-friendly, outdoor concert series that gathers around a campfire 7-9 p.m. Thursday evenings in October on the porch of the Sniteman Log Cabin behind the gardens at the City of Chattanooga’s Greenway Farm Park.
The series is sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union and hosted by Outdoor Chattanooga. All ages are invited to unplug and enjoy an autumn evening in the park listening to local musicians.
Bring blankets and chairs, marshmallow roasting sticks and a picnic supper. Enjoy live music in a rustic outdoor setting. Each night will feature a special themed activity and/or giveaway by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, so come early. Supplies are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Oct. 4 - Lou Wamp and The Bluetastics
Lou Wamp and a company of veteran pickers honor the bluegrass tradition and give it a new kick. Instrumental prowess and vocal style showcase fine original material based in bluegrass, western swing, & swampy blues. The first 200 concertgoers will receive a complimentary flashlight.
Oct. 11 - Lew Card
Lew Card has four albums and plays acoustics with grand folk-singing and plenty of Southern grit. A couple hundred s’more kits will be available, courtesy of Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union and Food City.
Oct. 18 - Rising Fawn Social Club
The Rising Fawn Social Club is a neighborhood collective of 6-9 musicians during any given performance. A core of traditional bluegrass and country gets kicked up with the addition of the dobro, percussion instruments, a trumpet and banjo-picking lead. Enjoy freshly-popped, locally-grown popcorn, compliments of Crabtree Farms and Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.
Oct. 25 - Randy Steele
Randy Steele offers a musical journey and masterful storytelling through his original banjo music, melding the best elements of bluegrass and country music. As the fall nights turn cooler, register to win one of 12 stadium blankets from Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.
