JONESBOROUGH, TN – Sept. 18, 2019 – Eureka’s Mystery Parlor presents, “The Haunting of Horace Crawford,” an outrageously funny Mystery Dinner Oct. 18-Nov. 9 at the 222-year-old Historic Eureka Inn. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and reservations are required.
Aunt Mable will have guests howling with topsy-turvy shenanigans. “The Haunting of Horace Crawford” was written by Derek Smithpeters and Katelyn Yarbrough.
The inn’s parlor is transformed into an intimate theatrical experience where guests are invited to enjoy an evening of enigmatic and comedic delight.
The fluidity of past and present mingle together and somehow make it easier to summon the spirits of long ago or last year. Join Delmar, Iris, and Aunt Mable Crawford in this sequel to “The Family Reunion” as they conjure up mayhem and wreak havoc on the Eureka, turning the place upside down. But not before they feed you a three-course dinner.
Costumes are encouraged as the most impressive costume wearer will win a prize. There will also be a puzzling clue hunt with prizes awarded.
Tickets are $45 and available at the Historic Eureka Inn, EventBrite, or by calling 423-483-7242. Book an overnight stay and enjoy a lovely room, delicious breakfast at Eureka Bites, and turn your weekend into the ultimate escape.
Parking is free and located down 1st Avenue and on Main Street.
