NASHVILLE, TN – Feb. 19, 2019 – Pat Martin’s beloved burger and barbecue shop, Hugh-Baby’s is set to open Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 178 Thompson Lane in Nashville’s 100 Oaks area of Berry Hill, marking the third location of the fast food joint in under two years.
The new location will offer the same popular, simple-yet-delicious menu of burgers made to order, slow-smoked barbecue and hand-spun milkshakes. Fun for the whole family, the 2,700-square-foot location features an outdoor playground area and inside seating for 70 guests.
Coinciding with the opening, Hugh-Baby’s is rolling out several new menu additions including the Chicken Sandwich that is fried and topped with pickles and the option of Hugh-Baby’s house-made sauces, including barbecue, white or comeback, as well as the Club Sandwich which features smoked turkey, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. The new items will be available at the Charlotte and West End Avenue locations on Wednesday, Feb. 20 and at the Berry Hill location once open.
In addition to the new items, guests can enjoy favorites like the BBQ Burger made with a custom beef patty ground in-house daily, topped with pulled pork, American cheese, grilled onions and Hugh-Baby’s BBQ sauce; Pickwick Dog, featuring a hot dog topped with grilled onions, jalapenos, mayo, mustard and Hugh-Baby’s BBQ sauce; custom-blend Veggie Burger; house-made Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry Milkshakes and the Slugburger, a Friday-only special featuring a deep fried soy meal patty with mustard, onions and pickles.
Opened in August 2017 by Pat Martin of Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Hugh-Baby’s quickly won the hearts of Nashville residents and visitors alike with quality ingredients, excellent service and crave-worthy burgers, barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, fries and more. At Hugh-Baby’s, there are no freezers and no microwaves, beef is ground in-house daily and pork is treated with time-honored Memphis barbecue traditions. Reminiscent of a simpler time, when even the smallest things were well-made with care, Hugh-Baby's brings guests back to the ‘60s and ‘70s style of small-town burger and barbecue shops. That old school integrity is echoed throughout from the warm Southern hospitality to the straightforward, made-to-order menu.
