JONESBOROUGH, TN – Oct. 28, 2019 – The Jonesborough Yarn Exchange Radio Show’s performance will celebrate the Halloween season 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the International Storytelling Center.
The production will be filled with mysterious stories and eerie legends from the region. True accounts of the macabre, straight from the pages of local history and lore include the tale of the moving China Doll on Cherokee Road, the Wampus Cat, and the ghost baby of Rockvale.
Other stories featured in the show will be tales of local descendants who have met mysterious ends, an imaginary friend that turns out to be more than what it seemed, as well as local legends and scary stories, which will be brought to life by a cast of regional actors.
Joining the cast this month as musical guests are the David Crockett High School Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Kelly Sams Davenport. This will be the fourth year the group has performed as a music guest. They will sing a collection of songs to fit in with the Halloween theme.
Tickets for the performance are $5 and are on sale now. Seating is limited, and reservations are recommended.
