NASHVILLE, TN – March 22, 2019 – Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint expands March 26 into Nashville’s bustling Midtown neighborhood at 2400 Elliston Place.
Steps away from Centennial Park, the newest location will feature a large patio and a full outdoor bar with views of two block pits smoking fresh hogs daily, as well as two private dining spaces.
With no freezers or microwaves in the building, everything on the menu is made fresh daily and prepared with the intention of running out. Menu highlights include the signature Whole Hog Barbecue Sandwich topped with slaw; the Southern “Paddy” Melt, brushed with Sweet Dixie Sauce and topped with Pimento Cheese; and Catfish Fingers, fresh Mississippi catfish hand breaded and served with “comeback” sauce inspired by Martin’s Corinth roots. Southern-style sides include Cornbread Hoecake and Mac & Cheese—made fresh from Martin’s family recipes, just like the dessert offerings including Mrs. Kitty’s Coconut Cake and Martha Ann’s Fudge Pie.
The new location will feature plenty of libations to pair with the barbecue menu including cocktails like the Cumberland Grog made with all spice and Cheerwine or the Tennessee Sour that combines a classic whiskey sour with a touch of red wine. Beer and wine enthusiasts will find an assortment of local brews on tap and a wine list curated by Martin.
Throughout the restaurant, eclectic and kitschy Nashville-themed décor, photos from Martin’s youth and other nostalgic memorabilia fill the walls to create a space that instantly feels like an old favorite.
