NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Mockingbird will extend its hours to 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights beginning Friday, June 1.
Night owls can now stay later at the popular north Gulch hotspot to enjoy the diner’s full beverage menu including the whimsical cocktail offerings, like the popular Punchin’ Bag and the Cherry Lime-Aid, both perfect for summer sipping. A late night menu will also be offered that will include regular menu favorites, including Don’t Worry, Brie Happy, a brie grilled cheese with jalapeno jam and chimichurri; Tatchos, tater tots topped with lamb chili and beer cheddar cheese, as well as several new items such as Holy Mole!, fried chicken mini tacos and Da’ Bologna, a fried bologna sandwich with Chicago-style relish and American cheese.
Tiki Taco Tuesdays
The Mockingbird is toasting the arrival of summer with Tiki Taco Tuesdays, offering specials on tacos and tiki cocktails 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Tuesday night beginning June 5. Tiki Taco Tuesday will feature $2 tacos, including You Herd made with shredded braised lamb, giardiniera and feta and Kale Seitan with Al Pastor Seitan, kale and pineapple, as well as $5 tiki cocktails like the tropical That Ish Is B-A-N-A-N-A-S, a refreshing sipper made with rum, banana liqueur and lime, and a Daily Tropical Punch with rum. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.
