NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Mop / Broom Mess Hall, the new restaurant from Chef Tandy Wilson, announces “Tuesday Night Special,” a new monthly supper series that will feature rotating guest chefs collaborating with Wilson on a special menu beginning 6 p.m. Nov. 13 and Dec. 4.
The menus will feature dishes that the guest chefs cook in their own home kitchens rather than their respective restaurants, as Mop / Broom is inspired by what Wilson cooks at home. The series gets started Nov. 13 with a special menu from Chef Margot McCormack of Nashville’s Margot Café and Marché. Pat Martin of Martin’s Bar-B-Que will be the second guest to cook in the Mop / Broom kitchen Dec. 4. Additional guest chefs will be announced in the coming weeks for the 2019 “Tuesday Night Specials.”
Mop / Broom Mess Hall (read as Mop and Broom Mess Hall) is a casual, come-as-you-are concept, serving Americana cooking with Southern sensibilities; what Tandy grew up eating and now cooks for his family and friends when he’s not in the kitchen at his first restaurant, City House. Mop / Broom Mess Hall is located at 1300 3rd Ave. North in Nashville, Tennessee.
