MILLINGTON, Tenn. – For the third year in a row, the rising stars of NASCAR K&N Pro Series 150, presented by AutoZone will race June 1, 2019 at Memphis International Raceway. The 2019 race will be broadcast on NBCSN.
NASCAR K&N Pro Series is a proving ground where drivers such as Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Daniel Suarez were able to showcase their talent before breaking through to the national series. In 2018, Ruben Garcia Jr. scored his breakout win at MIR in the Memphis 150, presented by AutoZone, on his way to a third-place finish in the championship standings.
NASCAR’s 2019 return to Memphis is important for the economies of the Memphis and Millington areas, with fans traveling from all over the Mid-South to attend.
NASCAR and MIR’s history dates to 1998 when the MIR Oval hosted its first-ever NASCAR race - the NASCAR Truck Series Memphis 200 - before a sold-out crowd and a national television audience.
