COLUMBIA, TN – May 3, 2019 – Gardens of Columbia, a celebration of summer including a nearby self-guided walking tour of Columbia, Tennessee’s oldest and most tenderly cultivated home gardens takes place June 7-8 at the President James K. Polk Home & Museum.
Afternoon tea in the Polk Home Garden and floral design programming will be offered both days.
Garden tour guests are invited to visit “Crafted by Conscience: Material & Belief in Polk's America,” an original exhibition of the President James K. Polk Home & Museum featuring objects on loan from 15 museums and institutions across the country, on display through Sept. 30. Tickets to the exhibit are available for $5 adults/$3 children, or as included in regular admission to the Home & Museum.
Individual advance tickets for the Gardens of Columbia are $25. Weekend tickets at the door are $30.

The President James K. Polk Home & Museum is located in historic downtown Columbia and is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday afternoons.
