CROSSVILLE, TN – May 23, 2019 – The denizens of Tuna, Texas return in “Red, White & Tuna,” a raucously funny sequel to the mega-hit “Greater Tuna” May 31-Aug. 8 with the opening show 7:30 p.m. May 31 to the Cumberland County Playhouse.
“Red, White & Tuna” is a side-splitting ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Tuna, Texas – the state’s third smallest town, as authors Ed Howard, Joe Sears, and Jaston Williams skewer the eccentricities of life in rural America.
Beloved Playhouse stars Jason Ross and Patty Payne play nearly 20 characters of both genders and various ages as they burst into the 4th of July Tuna High School Class Reunion. This sets the stage for a show full of fireworks and frivolity.
“Red, White & Tuna” plays through Aug. 8. The play is rated PG.
