BELL BUCKLE, Tenn. – Celebrate 100 years of the MoonPie during the RC & MoonPie Festival 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 16 in downtown Bell Buckle.
This year’s festival starts with a timed 10-mile run and a 5K through the scenic countryside. A full breakfast, complete with RC Colas and MoonPies await all the finishers.
The King and Queen of the Festival are Mike Keith, the voice of the Tennessee Titans and Emily Minor, singer-songwriter who has opened for Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell and Maddie & Tae.
The ever-popular RC-MoonPie parade sponsored by George Dickel, stage entertainment, music, cloggers, art and craft booths, and RC and MoonPie games continue until the World's Largest MoonPie is sliced and served.
Guests can try hula hooping while eating a MoonPie and drinking an RC Cola, see how far they can throw a MoonPie or balance an RC on their heads while walking and eating a MoonPie.
With more than 75 arts and crafts booths, all day stage entertainment including foot stomping, toe tapping, can’t-stand-still music, games, the RC & MoonPie Festival has earned multiple nods from Southern Living magazine, Food Network magazine, USA Today and more.
