NASHVILLE, Tenn. – SongBird Tours is one of the only state-of-the-art live music venues on wheels anywhere. Tours begin and end at Hayes Street (between 15th and 16th Avenues) near downtown Nashville. Tickets are $45.
An audience of 30 per tour can enjoy an intimate, in-the-round songwriter performance indigenous to Nashville. SongBird CEO Patsy Bruce is the co-writer of the Grammy-nominated “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys,” (Waylon & Willie), “Texas When I Die,” (Tanya Tucker), and others while being an advocate for songwriters. Bruce knew many come to Nashville looking forward to experiencing a songwriter in-the-round and wanted to provide that experience in a unique way. SongBird Tours is it.
Chief Creative Officer Trey Bruce is an Emmy Award-winning songwriter and producer who ranks among Nashville’s creative elite with multiple No. 1 singles and hits for the likes of Carrie Underwood, Reba, Faith Hill, Randy Travis and ZZ Top. As a publishing executive he’s signed songwriter/artists including Chris Janson, Brothers Osborne and Charlie Worsham.
Trey has drawn from his in-the-round songwriter performances while overseeing the total transformation of the SongBird bus. He’s hired lighting designer Chris Lisle (Miranda Lambert, Robert Plant), and sound design is being handled by JSS Audio and Richard Battaglia (Bela Fleck). His Nashville music roots run deep, participating in saving the historic RCA Studio A and establishing the Music Industry Coalition which continues to advocate for Music Row’s heritage.
