NASHVILLE, TN – Jan. 10, 2020 – Songwriters Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts and Dylan Brady will perform and share the stories behind their songs in a Songwriter Session 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s Ford Theater.
During Songwriter Sessions, fans get a chance to meet the minds behind some of country music's biggest hits, as respected songwriters share the stories behind their work in an intimate performance setting, with an audience Q&A. Performances run every Saturday.
Country newcomer Dylan Brady co-wrote his releases “Boyfriend,” “I Hate California” and “Over Us.” The debut songs from the singer/songwriter have been collaborations with Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney, who serves as a co-producer on the tracks. “Over Us” is Brady’s first release from his forthcoming EP. Rooney is an accomplished songwriter having co-written hits for Rascal Flatts including “Winner at a Losing Game.” His songs have also been recorded by Lee Brice, Kenny Chesney and Country Music Hall of Fame member Reba McEntire.
The program, presented by SunTrust, is included with museum admission, and is free to museum members. Seating is limited, and a program ticket is required.
