UNION CITY, Tenn. – Having recently hit the milestone of 1 million visitors in the first four years, Discovery Park of America is gearing up for a summer filled with educational opportunities and new activities.
Discovery Park of America is offering four different summer camps for children. A one-day camp on July 7 called “Minecraft” will give children ages eight through 12 the opportunity to see things that they have experienced playing Minecraft come to life.
The park will offer LEGO Camp for children ages six and up 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 10-13.
Children six and up can attend one of two Storytelling Camps that will teach children how to create a story July 17-20.
“Dinosaur” takes place 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 24-27 for children ages six through nine.
Park members get a reduced rate when signing up for any of these camps. These day-camps have a limited number of spots available, so parents should sign up early to insure that their child gets to attend. Additional information can be found on the park’s website.
