NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Performing Arts Center and Goo Goo Cluster have teamed up again this holiday season to celebrate the return of Nashville favorite, “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” with a special holiday Goo Goo inspired by the show.
The White Christmas Inspired Premium Goo Goo is a white chocolate shell filled with dark chocolate peppermint ganache, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, and peppermint nougat with a peppermint bark base.
The new seasonal confection is available for a limited time at the Goo Goo Shop in Downtown Nashville and is available to purchase at TPAC concessions during “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” through Dec. 25.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” also brings two Tennessee residents home for the holidays. Springfield, Tennessee native Jeremy Benton, who plays Phil Davis, and Franklin, Tennessee resident Conrad John Schuck, who plays General Waverly, will star in the beloved classic musical at TPAC.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” tells the story of a song-and-dance team putting on a show in a magical Vermont inn who fall for a sister act in the process. Full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Happy Holiday,” “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” and the unforgettable title song, Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with book by David Ives and Paul Blake and is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank.
“White Christmas the Musical” is a trademark used under license from Rodgers & Hammerstein on behalf of the owners.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” is presented locally by Dollywood.
TPAC reminds ticket buyers that the only official place to buy tickets online is www.TPAC.org.
