UNION CITY, Tenn. – The Titan One Missile is now on permanent display in STEM Landing at Discovery Park of America. The 110-ft. tall missile rivals the height of the park’s Observation Tower. Viewing the missile is free for members or for anyone with park admission.
The exhibit has a special interactive component where guests can push a button and smoke comes out of the bottom of the missile.
Additionally, on the North side of Discovery Park of America, there is the new Children’s Discovery Garden which includes the Rhapsody outdoor musical instruments, a babbling brook, dinosaur fossil dig, outdoor labyrinth classroom, giant chess/checker set, hidden fossils and more.
Additional features a treehouse tower, a unique Zip Krooz, hillside slide, balance beams, log steppers, climbing rocks, corkscrew nets, saddle spinners, an Omni spinner and Rhapsody outdoor musical instruments.
The new space was $500,000, funded by the Robert and Jenny Kirkland Foundation.
Visiting the Children’s Discovery Garden is free for anyone with an annual pass and included in the park admission.
