Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary – Petros, TN

Opened in 1896 and closed just 14 years ago in 2009, this huge prison housed Tennessee’s most infamous criminals, including the alleged assassin of Martin Luther King, Jr. After 113 years of operation, the “End of the Line” has earned the reputation of being one of Tennessee’s most paranormally active locations, with numerous reports of footsteps, apparitions, and disembodied voices. Old South Pittsburg Hospital – South Pittsburg, TN

Founded in the mid-1950’s, Old South Pittsburg Hospital operated until 1998 but has now reopened its doors to paranormal investigators and curious visitors who want to experience the haunted building. Historic Scott County Jail – Huntsville, TN

Built in 1904 and housing inmates until 2008, Historic Scott County Jail recently reopened as a museum by day and a paranormal research center by night. With reported activity ranging from hearing disembodied voices, whispers, and footsteps to feeling hands touch your shoulders and witnessing pictures flying off the walls, the jail has been abounding with unexplained happenings. Bell Witch Cave – Adams, TN
