NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This year’s 4th Labor Day Annual Old School BBQ Festival promises to light up Nashville for residents and those in attendance from across the nation 2 p.m. Sept. 3 at Nashville’s Riverfront Park.
The 4th Annual Labor Day Old School BBQ Festival is an inviting and multi-faceted event which highlights the aroma of traditional barbecue cooking in the air while bringing families and friends together in an outdoor social setting.
It’s all for a pleasantly remembered day of reunion, information and live national award winning entertainment.
The entertainment lineup for this year includes Club Nouveau, Al B Sure, Music Soul Child, Klymaxx, Silkk The Shocker, 69 Boyz, Jon B, Joe Cooley And Rodney O.
The purpose of the festival is to create platforms which the general public can come and retrieve life changing knowledge as it relates to health and wellness, technology, family intervention, financial literacy, professional career building and workforce development.
The annual festival provides complimentary vending space to those professionals who have an interest in providing complimentary service and or information in any of the aforementioned categories, which will further serve the community at large. The festival will provide complimentary tickets to various community resource agencies with a particular focus on battered women and domestic violence.
The method of promoting The 4th Annual Old School BBQ Festival is to present National Award Winning Entertainment at low ticket prices in efforts to reach the capacity of the facility.
