MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The On Stage at the Halloran Centre music series continues with the mesmerizing talents of the original vocal play group, NATURALLY 7 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Halloran Centre. Single and group tickets are on sale now.
With their rich harmonies, the ability to replicate instruments, and a stage presence that can be felt in every seat of the house, NATURALLY 7, the first vocal play group ever, are charming fans where ever they perform. They have toured worldwide with acclaimed singer Michael Bublé and have had appearances on Ellen, The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The View, The Late Show with Craig Ferguson and more.
What makes NATURALLY 7 special is that every instrument sound you hear is created from the human voice. The origins of the group date back to New York City in 1999 when Roger Thomas started the group with his brother, Warren, and five other talented singers. After deciding whether to be an a cappella group or a traditional band, Thomas decided they could be both. The idea evolved, and the other band members found unique aspects of their own voices to determine which members would be which instrument. After all, Roger thought, if the human voice truly was an instrument, it should not matter which instrument it needed to be.
Tickets for their Memphis engagement are $35 and available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, the Orpheum Box Office (901-525-3000), and Ticketmaster. Special group rates are available by calling 901-529-4226 or emailing groups@orpheum-memphis.com. The 2017-18 On Stage at the Halloran Centre Music Series is sponsored in part by Swain Wealth Partners.
