Local Authors Needed to Help Celebrate Alex Haley Museum’s 5th Annual Author’s Day

HENNING, Tenn. – The Alex Haley Museum invites local authors to participate in the 5^th Annual Author’s Day Celebration, honoring the Pulitzer Prize-winning author and noted researcher, Alex Haley, 1-3:30 p.m. April 28 in the Interpretive Center of the museum.

There will be a reception for the authors at 12:30 p.m. with an opportunity for each author to briefly share his or her story. Each author will be assigned a designated area to promote, sign and sell his or her books.

There is no fee to participate in the event.
