NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville’s first high-end sports bar The Ainsworth will officially open to the public on Nov. 14. Located at 206 21st Ave. S., the restaurant will feature craft cocktails, local brews and gourmet creations like the brand’s signature Mac & Cheese Burger and famous 24 karat gold chicken wings.
The Ainsworth was created to be more than a sports bar, taking what people love in a traditional sports venue - community, camaraderie and comfort foods - and elevating those local feels and flavors in a high energy, luxe atmosphere.
To head up their first Nashville location, The Ainsworth has tapped local food and beverage industry heavy-hitters. Former executive sous chef for The Hermitage Hotel Joey Ray will lead the team as the executive chef, overseeing food development and putting a Southern stamp on the New York-based brand. Ray has also utilized his culinary prowess with charity programs such as the Napa Valley BBQ & Beer Battle, winning the title of best barbecue multiple years. Additionally, he has served as the host chef and competitor for the Nashville Cochon555 competition.
Supervising restaurant operations, Garrett Tuttle will serve as the restaurant’s general manager. He will be tasked with creating and executing a culture of service, curating the beverage program and cultivating community engagement. Prior to joining The Ainsworth, Tuttle was the manager at Kayne Prime.
Tuttle will be joined by William Hall as The Ainsworth’s assistant general manager. The Nashville native comes from Acme Feed & Seed and will manage the restaurant’s sales, inventory, guest relations and event planning in his new role.
Featuring a full-service restaurant and bar, lounge and events area, this multipurpose venue will cater to everything from corporate events and large game viewing parties to celebratory brunches. Delivering all-American spirit with a sophisticated twist, The Ainsworth is the latest installation in the ongoing evolution of Nashville’s culinary scene.
