Hosted by the Upper Cumberland Wine Trail and collaborative efforts with Historic Granville
GRANVILLE, Tenn. – Raise a glass to the 2nd Annual Wine Festival noon to 5 p.m. April 8 at the Pioneer Village in downtown historic Granville.
DelMonaco Winery, Stonehaus Winery, Highland Manor Winery, Holly Ridge Winery, Red Barn Winery, Northfield Vineyards, Cellar 53 Winery, and Chestnut Hill Winery are to return and provide a festival for all to enjoy.
Pre-sell tickets will be $20 at participating wineries and Sutton General Store and online at www.uppercumberlandwinetrail.com. Tickets will be $25 the day of at the festival gate.
This year’s ticket also includes a coupon for 10% off purchases at Sutton General Store, Granville Gifts, and Granville Antiques & Gifts.
2nd Annual Upper Cumberland Wine Festival visitors can look forward to a fun-filled day tasting local wines, enjoying lots of different flavors of food, listening to live jazz and blues music performed by Lynn Beal Trio, and shopping. The festival also features an assortment of arts and crafts vendors selling their wares.
The festival coincides with the launch of Historic Granville’s 2017 summer season “Remembering the 1940’s: A Decade of Change.” Special exhibits at the Granville Museum on remembering the 1940’s and at Sutton Homestead “They Came as Strangers and Left as Friends”.
Guests will have the opportunity to stroll through Historic Granville to visit the 5th Genealogy Festival, Up to 1950’s Antique Car Show, Sutton Homestead & Car Museum, Granville Museum, Old Time Craftsmen at Pioneer Village, Craft Booths, Gift and Antique Shops and, of course, the 1880 Sutton General Store offers attendees their famous southern cooking. Dinners begin 5 p.m. with reservations required. The 9th Anniversary of Sutton Ole Time Music Hour starts 6 p.m. featuring John Tomlin & Company. For reservations call 931-653-4151.
