MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 59th AutoZone Liberty Bowl will be broadcasted 12:30/11:30 ET Saturday, Dec. 30 on ABC and on ESPN Radio. The AutoZone Liberty Bowl welcomes teams from the Big 12 Conference and SEC to battle for top honors at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
As the seventh oldest bowl game, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl has had a long and storied historical partnership with ABC. ABC first telecast the AutoZone Liberty Bowl more than 50 years ago in 1964.
The ABC telecast of the 2017 AutoZone Liberty Bowl will be seen in Memphis and the Mid-South on WATN-TV/Local 24. The ESPN Radio broadcast will be carried locally on 92.9 FM ESPN.
The AutoZone Liberty Bowl has an action-packed, fun-filled week of events planned leading up to the game beginning with the Bass Pro Shops Team Welcome Party Dec. 26. The Pro Rodeo, Players and Coaches Luncheon, Beale Street Parade and Pep Rally, President’s Gala and Pre-Game Buffet are also on the agenda.
