COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The 2017 BCAT/TACA All-Star Basketball Classic takes place beginning at noon Saturday, April 1 at Cookeville High School.
The games will showcase the talents of the best-of-the-best basketball players, both boys and girls, from across Tennessee. All-star coaches will also be selected to participate. The girls compete noon CT, and the boys will take the floor at 2 p.m. CT.
In addition to partnering with TACA, the games will also be coordinated with the Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee and have most recently been hosted in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at Blackman High School.
The games will offer added revenue for area hotels, restaurants, and retailers with many players and guests staying overnight. Cookeville’s newest lodging facility, TownePlace Suites, will serve as host hotel for the games. The Marriott property, located at 1250 Sam’s St., officially opened Feb. 23, boasting 92 suites, group rates, and easy access to both Interstate 40 and Highway 111.
Tickets will be available at the door for $10 adults and children under 10 years of age free. Ticket pricing includes access to both girls’ and boys’ games.
