MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Freebirds World Burrito, the quirky, fast-casual concept that spearheaded the burrito revolution, is opening their first Tennessee location in Murfreesboro July 18 at 2222 Medical Center Parkway.
To celebrate the occasion, they’re giving away free burritos for a year to the first 25 guests in line on opening day.
Since 1987, Freebirds World Burrito has set the bar high with their unwavering dedication to high-quality ingredients and a scratch-made philosophy in a casual, yet stimulating environment. The menu features a wide selection of premium, customizable burritos, as well as tacos, nachos, quesadillas, bowls and salads. In honor of their 30th anniversary this year, the eatery has brought back beloved promotions and menu items, including Tattoosday, where guests who stop by on Tuesdays to show off their ink receive a free order of chips and salsa with their purchase, and the notorious “Pot Brownie.”
Known for their community outreach, the new location is kicking things off by giving back to those who support and shape the city of Murfreesboro. The community is invited to come by the restaurant to eat for a minimum $5 donation July 14-16 that will benefit the following local Murfreesboro organizations:
Friday, July 14:
Saturday, July 15:
Sunday, July 16
Freebirds World Burrito provides a fun, music-inspired ambiance where guests are encouraged to express themselves – not only in their customizable food – but also by taking the foil from their burrito to create sculptures that adorn the restaurants’ dining rooms. Self-expression also extends to the employees – known as “The Tribe”, Freebirds World Burrito team members are welcome to show off their personality through unique clothing, tattoos and piercings. Freebirds World Burrito also offers a customer loyalty program where guests can receive rewards such as free queso or guacamole, Freebirds swag, a burrito party for 10 and much more.
Freebirds World Burrito will continue their expansion in Tennessee, with plans to open a location in Nashville later this summer in Green Hills. The brand’s food truck – equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen – will also continue to be stationed between Murfreesboro and Nashville throughout the summer.
