Nashville, Tenn. (Nov. 3, 2021) – The germantown inn is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Dec. 15, 2021 and will mark the occasion with a special giveaway and promotions throughout the month of December. The only hotel in Nashville’s historic Germantown neighborhood, the germantown inn is the perfect option for both locals to staycation in one of Music City’s trendiest neighborhoods and for visitors looking to experience Nashville like a local.
All December long, guests can take advantage of two exciting promotions: Receive 15 percent off room rates with the code HAPPY5, and guests staying at the germantown inn for four nights will receive the fifth night for just $5! To mark the actual anniversary, the germantown inn will also be giving away two free nights and a special turndown service over social media on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Nashville, Germantown was named for the influx of German immigrants in the mid-1800s, including a prominent shoemaker named H. H. Wallman who built the original two-story Federal-style home on 6th Avenue North in 1865. The historic Wallman House was renovated and restored throughout 2016 before re-opening as a six-room inn with historic charm and a modern design. The Carriage House, with its additional four guest suites behind the Main House, opened on Nov. 1, 2018 to nearly double the germantown inn’s capacity.
The germantown inn looks forward to celebrating five years as a locally owned business, especially considering the hardships of the last year and a half. While the hospitality industry in particular was hit hard by the pandemic, the inn was also forced to close for four months following the devasting tornado that tore through Middle Tennessee in early March 2020 to repair extensive damages to the property. Like many small businesses, the inn is grateful for its resilient team and loyal guests and is excited to celebrate the anniversary all month long.
