Little Big Town, Darius Rucker and Wynonna among Those to Appear During Special Total Eclipse Sunday Night Grand Ole Opry Aug. 20
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Some of music’s brightest stars including CMA and ACM vocal group of the year Little Big Town as well as Darius Rucker, Wynonna and more come to the stage as part of the Grand Ole Opry Total Eclipse Show 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Grand Ole Opry.
The Opry eclipse celebration is set to continue with a free Total Eclipse Plaza Party 11 a.m. Aug. 21, combining the signature sounds of Nashville with the historic sight of the total eclipse. Guests can expect live music on the Plaza stage, commemorative gifts and eclipse glasses, and an array of themed food and drink, including barbecue and specialty eclipse cocktails. The Opry features a one-of-a-kind Nashville Total Eclipse soundtrack to accompany the approximately two minutes of eclipse totality.
Also marking the total eclipse, Opry House Backstage Tours including an Aug. 20 post-show tour and tours throughout the day Aug. 21 are set to recognize Opry artists whose career achievements have eclipsed all others in the field.
Total Eclipse packages are available that include show tickets, Opry House Backstage Tours, food and drink vouchers, Opry Total Eclipse viewing glasses and a commemorative print.
