JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Harley Owners Group, the official riding club of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, has announced Johnson City as the site for the 2019 Hills & Hollers H.O.G. Rally taking place Sept. 18-21, 2019 at Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson. More than 2,000 H.O.G. members are expected to attend the event.
The focus of this Rally is to ride and have fun, getting fellow riders from across the country and beyond in one location to share the joy of motorcycle riding. The riders have a passion to ride and to enjoy each other’s company sharing stories of great rides.
Guided tours and self-guided rides will be offered every day of the rally and many will highlight the Southern Dozen, a series of motorcycle rides that begin and end in Johnson City. Each ride features unique opportunities to experience – from scenery and culture to dining and history. At night, the rally will host entertainment at different locations throughout the event.
“When choosing a site for a Rally we always consider how well the community will support us and our activities. Johnson City has shown us already that they are 100% on board and committed to working together to make this a great location for our members,” said HOG Regional Manager, Pete Schwab.
Using conservative attendance numbers, the overall economic impact to the local community is estimated at $2.6 million.
Approximately 1,000,000 members and more than 1,400 chapters membership: worldwide, H.O.G. is the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle club in the world.
