Les Dames d’Escoffier Nashville Presents “Restaurant Invention and Reinvention” Webinar on Monday, May 3

Registration Now Open for Second Session of FREE Year-long “Sustain & Flourish in Adversity” Series Featuring Restaurant Pros Margot McCormack, Deb Paquette and Caroline Galzin

April 14, 2021 - Nashville, Tenn. - Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI) Nashville announces “Restaurant Invention and Reinvention,” the second installment of its year-long educational workshop series “Sustain & Flourish in Adversity” on Monday, May 3. The free year-long educational workshop series by and for women in food, fine beverage, hospitality and farming – made possible through a grant from The Women’s Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee – will include five one-hour topical discussions featuring industry experts and LDEI Nashville members representing all facets of the hospitality industry.

Registration is now open for “Restaurant Invention and Reinvention” on Monday, May 3, at noon featuring member experts, including Margot McCormack, executive chef and co-owner of Margot Cafe & Bar; Deb Paquette, executive chef of Etch, etc., and Jasper's; Caroline Galzin, partner and director of operations of Nicky's Coal Fired; and moderated by Erin Byers Murray, editor in chief of The Local Palate.

This one-hour session, held virtually via Zoom, will provide an opportunity for engagement and discussion, and take-away materials will be provided to each attendee. While the event is free and open to the general public, registration for each session is required. A recap of each session will be made available as a podcast at a later date in partnership with Nashville Restaurant Radio.

Les Dames Nashville is a local chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), a network of professional women in food, beverage, hospitality, and farming who are passionate about supporting women in those fields. Through our events, we raise money to fund our career advancement grants and scholarships, while furthering education and appreciation of our industry.
