NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Beatles wax figures from the famous Madame Tussauds collection brought Abbey Road to Nahsville to celebrate the arrival of British Airways’ inaugural flight to Nashville from London when it touched down in Tennessee’s capital.
The Fab Four were snapped with the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and at the airline’s ticket desk at the Nashville International Airport following the arrival of the BA223 from London, which touched down at 5:48 p.m. Friday, May 4. The inaugural BA222 from Nashville to London then departed at 9:38 p.m.
The life-like figures are currently on display at Madame Tussauds Nashville in Opry Mills as part of a British music collection, which also features Ozzy Osbourne.
Travelers on the inaugural flight were treated to a proper Nashville welcome with music by the Fisk Jubilee Singers, and goody bags including an exclusive Hatch Show Print piece.
