FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The much-anticipated Big Band edition of Music City Roots, originally planned for February, has been reset with doors open at 6 p.m. and show beginning 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin. Tickets are on sale now.
The night, suitable for listening and dancing, showcases the world-class 20-piece Nashville Jazz Orchestra.
The show features original arrangements of songs by the night’s star performers - Darrell Scott, John Cowan, the McCrary Sisters and an artist to be named – plus standards from the golden age of big band jazz. Music City Roots executive producer John Walker conceived the show as a tribute to this special genre of American music.
Food is served by Puckett's.
General admission is $40 with reserved tables and table food service available for $45-$60.
