MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Singer, songwriter and pianist, Peter Cincotti will be releasing his fifth studio album, Long Way From Home, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13 while performing at the Halloran Centre at the Orpheum. Tickets are on sale now.
Born in New York, Peter has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues from Carnegie Hall to L’Olympia in Paris, collaborated with artists ranging from Andrea Bocelli to David Guetta, has been featured in blockbuster films such as Spiderman 2, represented the global fashion brands Ermenegildo Zegna and Tod’s, and just recently appeared as himself in Season 3 of the hit Netflix series House Of Cards, singing a duet with the president played by Kevin Spacey.
Long Way Home was written, arranged, and produced by Cincotti over a two year period and is his most personal album to date. In a departure from his past work, Long Way From Home incorporates active, rhythmic piano playing with a pop twist. The 12-track album has Cincotti effortlessly blending pop, rock, blues and jazz in his own signature style.
If you threw Billy Joel, Oscar Peterson, and One Republic into a blender, something close to this album would come out.
Tickets are $30 and are available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, the Orpheum Box Office (901-525-3000) and Ticketmaster. Special group rates are also available by calling 901.529.4226 or emailing groups@orpheum-memphis.com.
Purchase tickets for this concert and at least two other concerts in the series for savings of up to 20% off individual ticket prices. The three-show On Stage at the Halloran Centre series subscriptions are available through the Orpheum box office. The 2017-18 On Stage at the Halloran Centre music series is sponsored in part by Swain Wealth Partners.
