NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum welcomes country music legend Ricky Skaggs for a special museum program to discuss his more than 50-year career 2 p.m. May 13 in the museum’s Ford Theater.
The program will be streamed live at www.countrymusichalloffame.org/streaming, powered by NewTek TriCaster.
The 75-minute conversation will be hosted by the museum's Peter Cooper. Skaggs will talk with Cooper about his remarkable life in music and perform briefly. The conversation will be illustrated with vintage photos, film footage and recordings.
The interview is included with museum admission and free to museum members. Seating is limited. Program passes are required for admittance and will be distributed two hours prior to the program start time.
Following the event, Skaggs will sign copies of his autobiography "Kentucky Traveler: My Life in Music" and the album, Honoring the Fathers of Bluegrass - Tribute to 1946 and 1947 available for purchase in the Museum Store.
