Hundreds of Santa’s helpers coming to town
GATLINBURG, Tenn. – More than 300 of Santa’s helpers come March 17-20 to the Gatlinburg Convention Center for the Santa Family Reunion. The event is the largest gathering of its kind in the Southeastern United States.
Many unique events are planned including special workshops on Santa and Mrs. Claus; an industry trade show full of Santa-related items, and even a fashion show. Santas will compete to see who has the fastest sleigh as they barrel down the mountain, snow-tubing at Ober Gatlinburg.
The grand event is The Parade of Santas Saturday, March 18 in downtown Gatlinburg. The procession will include hundreds of Santas, Mrs. Claus and local units from the surrounding area. Children of all ages will enjoy the atmosphere and the Christmas cheer as the parade jingles down the street.
