Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker Opening May 29th at the Memphis Museum of Science & History - MoSH

May 25, 2021 - Memphis, TN - Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker is an inspiring tale about a colony of endangered Australian sea lions. The movie captures your imagination while it pulls at your heartstrings. Set on the remote Australian coast between a jagged cliff face and the roaring Great Australian Bight, Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker follows the journey of an Australian sea lion pup.    

A touching story about nature and wildlife preservation, the movie ventures into an environment as harsh as it is beautiful. It is a classic coming of age tale guided by one of Australia’s most unique, intelligent and playful animals.

Movie goers will take a journey inside the colony where a life of great intimacy, tenderness and clumsiness often give way to a life of great sacrifice and bravery. Dive into the world of a rare Australian sea lion pup and meet the people who are trying to save her species.
