PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. – Back for an eighth season, The “Hatfield and McCoy Christmas Disaster Dinner Feud” ™ now runs 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. with occasional 2 p.m. matinees every day until Jan. 6, 2018.
The audience follows the lives of the two clashing mountain clans with their vibrant dancing, foot stomping music and a backwoods decorating contest.
Mayor Timothy O’Reilly plots to steal the Hatfield’s and the McCoy’s land in order to build a time-share property. When the two families discover his plans, they drop their feud and band together to get him to come to his senses. The mayor’s encounter with the Ghost of Christmas past helps him to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Sets include a barn party, a Christmas lighting contest and ghosts.
This approximately two-hour live show offers guests country, bluegrass and gospel music. It also features award-winning hillbilly musicians, cloggers, and an abundance of country cooking.
Guests are treated to a pre-show full of musical Christmas fun before the real show starts. The Hatfield’s and the McCoy’s invite each side of the audience to support “their kin” at the “Hatfield and McCoy Christmas Disaster Dinner Feud”™ in the legendary hillbilly feud of rival families.
