NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville is one of the best cities to view the 2017 solar eclipse Aug. 21. The largest city wholly within its path, Nashville will experience the event for 1 minute and 57 seconds. To celebrate, downtown Nashville’s landmark historic hotel, Union Station, will host a 2017 Solar Eclipse Champagne Brunch and Viewing Celebration 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 21 on the hotel’s outdoor Veranda.
Tickets are $65 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under and include a buffet of Southern brunch favorites, bottomless champagne, live music and specialty eclipse viewing glasses. Tickets can be purchased by calling 615-726-1001.
The menu includes Southern-style favorites like: Southern heirloom tomato salad, peach & watermelon salad, fresh, mixed greens salad, summer pole bean salad, omelet action station, Belgian waffles, shrimp Po’ boys, picnic fried chicken, southern style benedicts, breakfast potatoes, smoked country bacon, creamy mac & cheese and seasonal vegetables.
Union Station Hotel Nashville has limited valet parking that is $18 for 0-2 hours. Self-parking is also available at 10th and Broadway or behind the hotel on the south side of the property.
