The inaugural event at Music City Center attracts more than 15,000 homeowners
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It was a busy weekend in the heart of downtown Nashville with the inaugural Nashville Home + Remodeling Expo March 10-12 at Music City Center. The expo welcomed 15,850 home enthusiasts to experience the latest trends in home improvement.
At the first-ever Nashville Home + Remodeling Expo, guests found more than 200 exhibitors in categories such as remodeling, kitchen & bath, windows, flooring, décor and more. Show favorites included an interactive game room by Nashville Billiard & Patio, an inviting display by Hermitage Lighting Gallery, a relaxation station by Cambria and a hands-on tour by Kohler where bathroom dreams came to life.
Troy Dean Shafer from DIY Network’s Nashville Flipped and Alana and Lex LeBlanc from HGTV’s Listed Sisters headlined this year’s show. Shafer, one of Nashville’s most sought after contractors, expressed his passion for preserving historic Nashville homes while identical twins Alana and Lex LeBlanc entertained guests with their tips on how to recreate space without the mess of demolition.
Another show-stopping attraction was the Tiny Home Village. Coordinated by Dale Geist and Jessie Geist of the Tiny House Roadshow, five completely decorated homes gave attendees a true perspective of the simplified yet practical lifestyle. Avid deer hunters favored the custom-designed huntsman’s cabin, which included features like a deer stand and hand-carved cutting board, while hosts and hostesses enjoyed the multi-functional 396 square foot home complete with a pizza oven, flat screen TV, PlayStation and infrared sauna. While small in size, they were big on style.
An event perfectly suited for Nashville’s booming housing market, the Nashville Home + Remodeling Expo is here to stay.
Next year’s expo is Feb. 9-11, 2018.
