FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Sept. 29, 2021) – The Battle of Franklin Trust is offering two evening guided tours at Rippavilla in Spring Hill Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Battle of Franklin Trust CEO Eric A. Jacobson said, “We want to give visitors a unique perspective by offering two evening tours at Rippavilla. We will focus on sharing the stories of the Cheairs family and the Battle of Spring Hill which was pivotal in understanding why there was a battle in Franklin the following day. In addition, we’ll take a close look at the ongoing restoration of the Greek Revival home that was built in the early 1850s.”
Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased online at www.boft.org/visit. Tour groups are limited, and tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Other guided tours at Rippavilla include the Classic House Tour, Extended Tour and Battlefield Tour. Rippavilla hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
