NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tànsuǒ, the new restaurant endeavor from Chef Maneet Chauhan and Chef Chris Cheung, launches Happy Hour Monday, May 1 and Sunday Brunch beginning June 4.
Chef Maneet Chauhan and Chef Chris Cheung’s contemporary Chinese restaurant Tànsuǒ launch a dim sum happy hour and Sunday brunch in the coming weeks following the successful opening of the restaurant this spring.
The happy hour menu features a range of traditional dim sum options including Toishan Sui Mai, an open-faced dumpling with heritage pork, seasoned with preserved fish; Sesame Golden Eggs, soft rice dough eggs filled with shiitake mushrooms, silken tofu and covered in sesame seeds; and the Spicy Roasted Chicken Bao, the Chef’s special for Tànsuǒ’s Happy Hour, steamed bao with roasted chicken, braised cumin carrots, chili jam, ginger and shallots. Tànsuǒ’s happy hour will also feature a classic cocktail of the day and special wine and beer offerings. All of the happy hour menu items will be $6.
Tànsuǒ’s Sunday brunch kicks off June 4 with featured dishes like the Shanghai Shrimp Spring Roll, traditional shanghai crispy rolls stuffed with onions, cabbage, and shrimp; and the Roasted Pork Belly, slow cooked Berkshire pork, Shanghai street-cart fried bread rolls with hoisin and chili sauce. For those wanting a sneak peek, the restaurant opens for special Mother’s Day brunch 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14.
